I tried a lot of blog engines and always ended spending more time tweaking them than blogging (Good excuse, I know ;). I like tweaking stuff, but only when the end result satisfies me and not with language I find boring (Perl, PHP, I’m looking at you).(...)

Banned of the web 2007-10-29
I’m back online after 4 months without a decent connection. Ouch. To make a long story short, the “historical” phone provider which still owns the local loop, put my ADSL line on their network instead of my ISP’s one and took 4 months to fix the problem. Welcome in Belgium. Oh, and they were charging me “Movies on Demand” and other services I never used. Great.(...)
